We developed the new material- SNMJ in August, 2007, which has excellent wear-resistant, corrosion prevent, high-temperature resistant properties and high cost efficient. and the cost is the 80~90% of traditional tungsten carbide, however, the wear-resistant is stronger.

Properties and Field of application:
Properties:
1. Excellent in Mechanical Properties (Endurance, Toughness, Fatigue Life) and equivalent to the high strength Tool Steel;
2. High surface hardness and wear resistance;
3. Excellent in resistant performance when sudden variation between cryogenic heat and shape stability when heat treating
4. Good at being machined
5. High corrosion resistance (equivalent to 316L stainless steel)
6. Metallurgy joint with parent metal, perfect on Anti-stripping Property and anti-seizure property.
Field of application:
1. Parts with high wear resistance and toughness
2. Cold work mold with wear-out failure, for example mould for forming, dressing, flanging, powder metallurgy during the processing of punching squeezing cold drawing.
3. Parts under heavy load or alternate stress
4. Parts with complicated shape and can¡¯t be produced by Tungsten Carbide

We produced high pressure and high speed key parts of sandblast -Sandblast Nozzle by SNMJ, the maximum length of high speed sandblast can be as long as 400 mm, and passed the trial test during one year in China International Marine Containers (Group) Ltd. (CIMC) and Jiangnan Shipyard (Group) CO., LTD (about 1000 pieces of samples). The key indexes are better than the ones made by Tungsten Carbide.
